Captain of the Month - February 2015, Captain Thomas Tallon, South Carolina
After catching his first fish at the age of three, Captain Thomas has become a devoted fisherman. From catching Sailfish in the Florida Keys, to catching monster Stripers in the Chesapeake Bay, Thomas enjoys both freshwater and saltwater fishing.
Captain Thomas has always been a people person and goes out of his way to make his customers feel welcome on the boat. Currently, he is fishing in Little River, South Carolina, for the Little River Fishing Fleet.
Thomas' newest venture involves working with Berry-Boger Yachts, Inc., out of North Myrtle Beach as a Sales Representative and is looking forward to a prosperous new year of hooking fish!

I got to fish all the time off the beach, jetties, charter boats and drift boats. Drift boat fishing was always one of my favorites as a young man mostly because it was a much more “hands-on” experience when it came down to hooking and landing your fish.
I fished many charter boats over the years but to me it just wasn't the same when someone else handed you the rod with a fish hooked and just said reel. I now work with one of the fleets I grew-up on, the Blue Heron fleet.
I think there is nothing better than watching a young person hooking the fish of a lifetime and catching it on their own. That's why we go to work every day!
